11 North Construction Inc is a fully licensed and insured construction and project management company servicing all of Toronto and the GTA.
Led by two partners with a shared passion for high-caliber work and over a decade of hands-on experience, we specialize in full-house renovations, additions, and aging in home renovations. Our work is grounded in quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and hands-on project management.
We work with homeowners who value a well-planned renovation process and long-term results. We are committed to transparency, proper oversight, and delivering quality work that homeowners will be proud of.
Our determination to provide high-value construction solutions to our clients has helped bolster our reputation in the community as one with passion, integrity, and commitment. We have worked with over 500 clients to modify, add to, or renovate their homes and businesses, having completed over $7M of residential and commercial project work to date. Jonathan Tong
OwnerJonathan is a confident, independent self-starter with competitive drive, initiative, a sense of urgency and the ability to make decisions and to take responsibility for them. An industry professional, he is an experienced carpenter with a well-respected portfolio in the field of high-end custom residential and commercial remodeling projects.
Over the past decade, he has demonstrated skills in people and project management, with areas of personal development focused on business acumen, technical writing and the building sciences. An honours graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Jonathan considers himself first a student of life, while bringing his passion for knowledge into the field of construction.
At home, Jon and his wife Cheryl are parents of 3 beautiful children. In his personal time, he enjoys reading, physical training and volleyball, cooking and eating good food.
Joseph Lee
OwnerI began my career as an occupational therapist, working inside people's homes and seeing up close how the way a space is designed can shape how someone lives. I watched everyday obstacles — narrow hallways, unsafe layouts, poorly planned details — slow people down, limit their independence, and affect their confidence in their own home.
Moving into construction wasn't just a career change for me; it was personal. I wanted to build homes that truly support the people who live in them. As a partner at 11 North Construction, I combine my clinical understanding of the human body with a deep respect for quality craftsmanship. My goal is to create spaces that are not only beautiful, but safe, adaptable, and empowering — homes that give our clients more freedom, comfort, and independence for years to come.
We believe that a renovation is only as good as the people behind the tools. While technical skill is a baseline, we hire first for character, integrity, and respect. We've learned that you can teach someone to frame a wall, but you can't teach them to care about a client's home. By curating a team of high-character professionals, we ensure a job site that is clean, a process that is transparent, and a level of respect for your sanctuary is felt when you enter the home.
